With enough volunteers we can ensure that any child in our community who wants to be part of Scouting has a place. To do this we need your help to expand and consolidate the group. Being a Scout Leader or helper is incredibly rewarding. Scouts provide all the training you need to help deliver #SkillsforLife for our young members. This can be as a Team Leader, Team Member or Group Occasional Helper. We work together to plan and run fun, safe, and quality meetings, camps and events.

If you can only occasionally help, that’s great. We have a wide range of needs and opportunities for parents, adults, and community members to get involved. Our Leadership Team and Section Teams need plenty of support behind the scenes to keep the group running smoothly. Whatever your skills or availability we’ll guide you to an opportunity where you will meet new people, try new things, get outdoors, become more involved in your community, and positively impact young people’s lives.

In addition to volunteering to help at meetings/camps and events we also need help directing our group strategy, managing finances and keeping us safe, if you have a few hours a year to be part of our team of Trustees please get in touch.
